Today was quite a busy day. We started off with an autopsy this morning and the office did a press conference on synthetic marijuana. I have always watched press conferences on TV, but I have never been able to see one in person. It was interesting to see all who came and who spoke at the conference. After going to lunch with two employees, I interviewed my mentor, Shane. Shane and I had a good talk that took about an hour. Next we completed another autopsy on a homicide victim. Today Dr. Snider taught me about exit and entry wounds. After I read about about the wound and he showed me up on a white board, I was able to observe what he was talking about in the individuals skull. Today it hit me that tomorrow is my last day and I am sad to leave. But, I know that I am always welcome back in the future.
