Polynomials and Art
Project Description
In this project we took an original picture that consisted of multiple polynomials. We then re-created the polynomials using graph paper. When our equations were written out, we then expanded them. When the math section was completed, we created a new picture using the original polynomials.
Reflection
This project was really challenging for me because I could not get my equations to expand correctly. But I did enjoy re-creating my picture. I also took away a lot from this project considering my math skills. If I were to complete this project again, I would have put more time into my re-created picture. I am proud of this project because it reflects what I learned this year all in one poster.

Semester 1
So far this year, we have completed 3 projects in Algebra 2. My favorite project was the final semester project. In this project we had to write 10 of our own problems, each from different chapters of the book we have covered. The problems that the students wrote would then be sorted and some chosen problems would make it on to the final exam. We wrote a variety of easy, medium, and hard problems following one impossible problem. I am proud of this piece because I spent a lot of time writing and solving the problems. Not only was this project review, but it also reassured me that I had learned a lot over the course of the semester.
